Imposture (2017)

Alice Minville, a French nurse living in Canada, learns four days late that her mother Suzanne has died in a car accident. Back in France for the burial, she discovers that the body was repatriated by a man presenting himself as her mother's husband, and that a young woman is passing herself off as her. Without a passport and facing a disbelieving police officer, she must unravel a scheme in which identity and truth blur together. A television film by Julien Despaux.
