The second episode of the series, directed by Charlotte Brandström. Judge Bartoli continues his criminal investigations in Provence, still convinced that a crime is best understood by understanding the person who committed it. A 90-minute format, a French-Belgian co-production broadcast on TF1. The full synopsis of the episode is available on request from the company.
The Law According to Bartoli
Paul Lawrence Bartoli, an iconoclastic investigating magistrate based in Aix-en-Provence, conducts his criminal investigations by seeking first to understand the psychology of the guilty rather than to pile up evidence. Three 90-minute episodes, rooted in the landscapes and the cases of Provence.
A strong recurring character, an identifiable unity of place and a 90-minute format: the series is designed to be continued beyond the three episodes produced.
