Central Saint Martin's, in London, is one of the most highly regarded fashion schools in the world. Every year its fashion degree course stages what its director, Willie Walters, describes as the largest student show in the world: a hundred or so students, six to eight outfits each, close to seven hundred passages down the catwalk. Only thirty-five to forty of them will be selected to present their collection to the press.
The film follows the preparation of that graduate show, the fittings, the model casting, the workrooms, and the fierce selection at stake. An immersion in a school where the competition is already that of the profession. Written by Marion Chapulut, directed by Mathilde Deschamps for France 5.
