A documentary filmed at the Jeanne Garnier medical home in Paris, the largest palliative care centre in Europe. Caroline Tresca and Annie Morillon film the accompaniment of patients at the end of life, with particular attention to the role of the some 115 volunteers who work alongside the 80 resident patients. The directors set out deliberately to address death, a subject still taboo in the West.
